We aren’t just focused on the mowing. Here’s how Elevate is built differently.
We approach landscaping as asset management, not just regular maintenance. Big difference. That means your property isn’t just “kept up”, it’s diligently protected, and that’s backed with documentation.
Elevate Landscapes was founded in Colorado Springs in 2019 by Joe Ostrand, a retired U.S. Marine who built his career in the green industry after getting his degree from Michigan. From the beginning, Joe had a vision to do more than maintain landscapes. The goal was to raise the standard of service in Colorado Springs landscaping by combining operational discipline, field experience and training, with a culture that gives team members room to think, lead, and grow. Today, Elevate provides landscape maintenance, irrigation, installation, and snow removal services with the same founding belief: when you invest in your people, they take proactive care of the properties and communities they serve.
When a crew changes, details get missed, and your yard suffers and so does your property value
You never know when they’re coming, what they did, or when they’ll be back. They certainly aren’t advising you on issues before they become expensive problems.
Many irrigation systems are poorly programmed or completely neglected, which leads to wasted water, higher bills, and unhealthy grass.
Problems are only addressed once they’re visible (dead spots, weeds, or broken irrigation systems) and nobody warned you something was wrong.
Installations don’t follow the design, timelines get missed, and quality suffers.
No strategy in place often leads to surprise repairs or a rise in seasonal expenses.
Having one vendor for irrigation, maintenance, enhancements, and snow removal, eliminates the finger pointing and raises standards for accountability.
Most companies don’t walk the property before maintenance gets there and they miss massive problems because of it. Once an issue becomes a problem, it will get pricey.
Neglected maintenance on irrigation systems, poor programming, and lack of monitoring are typically the causes of an increased water bill and large irrigation repairs. They can also lead to plant, sod, and tree replacement which is also quite expensive.
Crews can rotate, or after years of being on the same property, complacency hits, and the property doesn’t have the attention it deserves.
Without the right partner, boards and managers are left to wonder what was done, what needs attention, and where their money is being spent.
Rather than proactive management, performance is being measured by how many resident complaints come in.
Poorly written scopes, lack of communication, slow response times, and poor planning lead to safety risks and frustration during storms.
